• At our Annual Networking Conference, you can meet with other Senior Level Executive TEANA Members to develop trust and collaborative business relationships. (2024 Conference will be in Nashville, TN.)

• Develop a common voice for governmental lobbying and lobbying efforts on your behalf. TEANA has partnered with the specialized trucking lobby and the law firm of Seaton & Husk (who also offers reduced legal fees to TEANA Members) and has a Legislative Committee to represent our members on Capitol Hill.
• Receive access to a detailed contact list of your peers and access to the frequently UPDATED Members Only section of the TEANA Website.
• TEANA's monthly e-blast is filled with educational and relevant material for everyone in the Expediting Industry.
• Invitations to private TEANA Members Only events, including our Annual Winter Networking Weekend (hosted in February 2024)
• Discount programs include Fuel Discounts, Insurance & Law Discounts, Equipment & Supplies, Travel & Lodging, and Marketing & Technology.
• Your company will have access to the new "Members Only" section of the TEANA website and will be listed in our Electronic Membership Directory, which your peers use all year long!
• Network with members for new business, sales, and operational ideas.

Membership Application Process:

• Fill out the online application pertaining to your Member Type.
• The application will be submitted automatically to our Board of Directors and Membership Committee for review.
• If there is any additional information needed, the Membership Committee will reach out to the contact on the application form.
• Once the application is reviewed and approval is finalized, you will receive an approval letter. If you did not meet the requirements, you will also receive a letter encouraging you to fulfill the requirements and re-apply.
• Following the approval process, you will receive an email prompting you to pay for the membership.
• Once the payment is received, you will receive a welcome letter with further instructions on how we will showcase your new membership to our members through our email blasts and social media.

EXPEDITING AND DIRECT AIR CARRIER MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

1. In business for at least 2 years.
2. MC & DOT for at least 2 years.
3. Applicants warrant that all vehicles, whether owned or leased, are insured with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence in BI & PD coverage and cargo insurance of $100,000 per occurrence with coverage coextensive to common carrier liability.
4. Must abide by Map-21 brokerage and freight forwarder guidelines, notifying all parties to transactions before shipments are handled through broker or forwarder affiliates.
5. Certificates of Insurance and Scheduled Autos need to be sent to info@teana.org from your Insurance Company.
6. Have a minimum Credit Score requirement of 85.
7. Must sign a pledge to adhere to the Association's Code of Ethics. Those who refuse to abide by the Code of Ethics are not permitted to join.
8. Must agree to abide by all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations and if applicable, Canadian laws and regulations.

VENDOR MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

• Vendor Members are companies or individuals who sell products to Expediting Members or employ the services of these Members, such as members of the trade press.
• These members must meet the same standards as Voting Members and maintain a standard of conduct consistent with the TEANA ethical guidelines.
• All representatives from Vendor Member Companies are eligible to hold office within the Association.
• Vendor Applications are subject to Board Approval.
